Double the Advantage.

Over 250 Bachelor’s Degrees to choose from. The Degree programmes combine cutting-edge theory with real-world skills so you can graduate career-ready.

6 Key Reasons Why a Double Major Degree Benefits You

According to "Measuring Undergraduates' Innovation Capacities", published by Research in Higher Education in 2018, students who double majored scored 17.4% more on the innovation scale than the average student, attributed to the fact that your understanding and knowledge are enhanced with 2 complementary fields.

Choosing a Double Major expands your prospects with multiple career paths, improving your employability and giving you more options.

Mastery in 2 different fields is no small feat, requiring substantial dedication of your time and effort.

Though you may have to sacrifice leisure time to get the school work done, research has shown that a Double Major Degree holder earns more on average than their peers over time, allowing your hard work to pay greater dividends.

A Diploma holder at age 25 who defers his or her Degree for 3 years might miss out on S$52,416 (over the next 3 years).

A Diploma holder at age 30 who defers his or her Degree for 10 years might miss out on S$272,280 (over the next 10 years).

Taking a Double Major offers you the combined skills and knowledge from 2 disciplines, allowing you to complement your skill sets, yield unique insights and experiences, and enhance your career prospects.

For instance, a Double Major in Psychology and Human Resources Management equips you with the capabilities and know-how in people management from an organisational perspective, supplemented by Psychology in its understanding of human behaviour.

In addition, achieving a Double Major Degree demonstrates to employers that you have tenacity and are better equipped to handle the job, granting you a competitive edge.

Technology-Integrated Learning

Technology-integrated learning refers to a study experience in which students achieve a given set of learning outcomes by interacting in more than one medium.

This approach involves the meaningful and balanced use of digital media such as recorded lectures, podcasts, text or graphics, with other elements such as videos or quizzes. It may even encompass active learning methods such as student-generated blogs, where appropriate.

With technology-integrated learning, students will not only reap the benefits of face-to-face guidance and collaboration, but also – in carrying out some of their learning online – benefit from the added flexibility and control over the time, place, path and pace of learning.

Studiosity — an on-demand, study-support service
